Samsung Announces New LCD Monitor


Samsung released on Wednesday a new computer TFT-LCD monitor for computers, the 20.1 inch SyncMaster 204B.

Samsung's latest large-screen LCD monitor delivers a maximum of 16.7 million colors, an 800:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 300cd/m2. It additionally features a 1600x1200 maximum resolution, ultra-fine pixel pitch of 0.255mm and a horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 160-degrees.

"With the introduction of the SyncMaster 204B, Samsung raises the bar of display perfection even higher providing best-of-breed technology that delivers great image quality at an affordable pricing point," said David Nichols, Director of Display Marketing for Samsung's Information Technology Division (ITD). "We are utilizing our resources and display expertise to further understand our user's needs and this new display offers all the benefits of Samsung's digital technology and superior image quality. The new SyncMaster 204B is the ideal monitor of choice for the home and business user."

The monitor is already available and will be sold at a price of $629.99.
