New CDRW Combo Drives by Teac


Teac announced today the availability of two new slim-type drives for notebooks.

The DV-28E-V is a 8x DVD-ROM drive capable of reading DVD-ROM, DVD+R/-R/+RW-RW R DL at 8x CAV, DVD-Video at 4x, CD-R/ROM at 24x and DVD-RAM at 5x.

The second product, called DW-224E-V, additionally supports 24x writing for CD-R and CD-RW media.
