Nero Releases Windows 7 Compatible Products


Nero announced today that Nero users can enjoy their favorite Nero products on the Windows 7 operating system.

With the availability of Windows 7, Nero users can immediately install Nero 9 "Reloaded" or Nero BackItUp & Burn.

Both Nero 9 Reloaded, launched recently online and in retail, and Nero BackItUp & Burn have received the Compatible with Windows 7 logo from Microsoft, which ensures that both products have passed compatibility tests to Microsoft?s standards.

Nero is also offering OEM customers Nero 9 Essentials; the OEM version of the Nero 9 integrated digital media and home entertainment software suite, with Windows 7 compatibility. Recently announced Nero partner Acer Group will bundle Nero 9 Essentials with Windows 7 compatibility on all desktop systems sold globally. These systems include the Acer, Gateway, Packard Bell, and eMachines brands and the Packard Bell and Gateway business model notebooks, which all come with the Windows 7 operating system.

Current Nero 9 and Nero BackItUp & Burn users can update to the latest version with Windows 7 compatibility free of charge at www.nero.com. Previous Nero suite users can also upgrade to Nero 9 Reloaded at a special discount.
