Nero today announced its largest PC OEM deal ever, via an agreement with Toshiba.
The PC manufacturer will include Nero 9 Essentials and Nero BackItUp & Burn Autobackup Essentials on all upcoming notebooks, netbooks and external hard disc drives (eHDDs) distributed in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The partnership contributes to the expansion of Nero?s OEM distribution channel and follows hot on the heels of recent contracts with OEMs such as Acer, Packard Bell, eMachines and Gateway.
With an easy Wizard-like user-interface, Nero BackItUp & Burn Autobackup Essentials enables users to automatically backup files and folders to internal or external hard drive, backing up only new and changed files to save time and space. It also creates 1:1 copies of the backed up files and folders to allow direct access. With Nero 9 Essentials? disc burning reliability, as well as great technical support, Toshiba will empower its customers to easily burn CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray Discs. Also included is Nero Toolkit, the industry standard for testing and benchmarking optical recording drives.
