CyberLink MediaShow 6 Released With New Photo And Video Features


CyberLink has released a new version of its multimedia software, MediaShow 6. The updated software assists users to organize media, apply simple fixes or enhance them with stylistic elements.

Users are able to import, organize and playback photos and videos, including native 3D format files. The FaceMe feature analyzes faces in photos and sorts them by who's in them. In addition, photos and videos can be automatically organized in a calendar by the date they were taken. Instant View offers previews of all media stored in a folder at a glance without having to open it. The software's revamped interface is now also optimized for touch-enabled displays.

Photos and videos can be edited, corrected and fine tuned video on both 2D and 3D media. Slideshows can be created using 2D or 3D photos, animated text effects and transitions. Fifteen different templates can be applied to 2D and 3D video footage.

The sofware also supports burning of photos and videos to DVD, Blu-ray and AVCHD discs. Besides that, footage can be uploaded directly to Flickr and YouTube while photos analyzed using FaceMe can be sent pre-tagged to Facebook.

Users can also notofied through the MediaShow software when their friends share photos and videos to online storage repositories like Dropbox

MediaShow is available today and can be downloaded from the CyberLink online store.
