LaCie Debuts Thinner, Faster Porsche Design Hard Drive

Today LaCie, together with Porsche Design, announced the P'9223 Slim SSD.

The latest extension of the Porsche Design portfolio combines USB 3.0 speeds with an optional SSD and its sleek form factor echoes the aluminum exterior of Apple's MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.

Thanks to UAS support, this product gets even better speeds on the latest MacBook Air, MacBook Pro or MacBook Pro with Retina Display running the most recent version of OS X Lion or Mountain Lion.

The LaCie P'9223 Slim is the thinnest 2.5-inch storage device from LaCie ? 30 percent thinner than the previous edition. It is available in 120GB SSD and 500GB HDD through the LaCie Online Store and LaCie Partners starting at $99.99.
