Samsung Smart Hub to Launch at CES

Samsung Electronics will introduce its all-new 'Smart Hub' content platform at CES 2013.

Smart Hub is a content platform for Samsung Smart TV. The new Smart Hub has an updated design of the initial screen for the users to enjoy not only live broadcasts but also a variety of contents such as movies, apps, and personal photos on one screen. Live TV broadcasts, VOD, apps, and internet will be available on one screen divided into five sections, each holding a spot for a different category.

The five categories are 'On TV' for live TV, 'Movies & TV Shows' based on VOD contents, 'Apps' for various applications, 'Social' for SNS contents sharing function, 'Photos, Videos & Music' for personal contents.

One of the most intenresting features is the "Flipping" function that allows you to browse through the five screens with Samsung's motion control function. It might remind you of flipping through the pages of a book, and it provides you an easy way to select your program of choice.
