New Studio Partnerships For NOOK Video

NOOK Media LLC will bring more movies and TV shows to its NOOK Video offering through newly announced content licensing partnerships with major studios and content providers.

The company has striked deals with Lionsgate, MGM, Paramount Pictures, Relativity Media, National Geographic, Little Pim, and Film Buff. NOOK Video delivers a catalog of standard and HD movies and TV shows rendered in color and high definition on 7-inch HD NOOK and 9-inch NOOK HD+ tablets.

As the first UltraViolet-enabled tablets, NOOK HD and NOOK HD+ also integrate a user's UltraViolet digital video collection across their devices right out of the box. Users can link their UltraViolet accounts to the NOOK Cloud, allowing them to view their previously and newly purchased UltraViolet-enabled movies and TV shows across NOOK HD and NOOK HD+ devices. In addition to purchasing movies and TV shows via NOOK Video, users can shop for DVDs and Blu-ray Discs with the UltraViolet logo in Barnes & Noble and other retail stores, add them to their digital collection, and watch compatible titles from the NOOK Cloud to enjoy wherever they go and however they choose.
