Microsoft Pays Windows Developers For New Apps

Microsoft is trying to attract more Windows 8 and Windows Phone developers and it's tempting them by offering $100 per app for newly published applications submitted to the Windows Phone Store or the Windows Store by June 30th.

According to the Terms And Conditions of the company's "Keep the Cash" offer, U.S. registered Windows Store and/or Windows Phone Store developers are able to register for this offer at http://build.windowsstore.com/keepthecash and publish an app to the Windows Store and/or Windows Phone Store between March 8, 2013 and June 30, 2013. The developers must create applications for a purpose other than just launching a web page. Cloned variations from previously published apps are banned from the promotion, and the offer is limited to the first 10,000 qualified entries until June 30th. All apps must comply with the company's App Certification Requirements.
