Apple Fixes Retina MacBook Pro Issues With Updates


Apple in Thursday released firmware updates for the new 13- and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro models.

MacBook Pro Retina EFI Update v1.3 fixes an issue with unresponsive keyboards and trackpads on the 13-inch Retina model.

MacBook Pro Retina EFI Update v1.2 for the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro resolves an issue that it sometinmes limited the performance of the discrete graphics processor after a system wake or boot.

Apple also released an iBooks Update 1.0.1 update for the desktop version of its ebook software in Mavericks. This one includes "bug fixes and improvements to performance and stability."

The updates are available via Software Update.
