Lenovo Introduces New YOGA Tablet 10 HD+, New Suite of Apps


Lenovo today at the 2014 Mobile World Congress announced the new YOGA Tablet 10 HD+ Android tablet, as well as a new suite of DOit apps for smartphones and tablets.

The YOGA Tablet 10 HD+ feature a 10.1-in 20/20 screen with a Full HD 1920x1200 resolution. Thanks to the new Smart Display, the tablet automatically adjusts the images and text on the screen to the ambient light, making it gentler on users' eyes in all its modes - Hold, Tilt and Stand.

Under the hood there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with quad core CPU and large storage. Running Android 4.3, the tablet features Dolby audio, 10 point multitouch, a micro USB port supporting on-the-go technology and an optional keyboard. The YOGA Tablet 10 HD+ also comes equipped with a new high definition 8MP rear camera.



The YOGA Tablet 10 HD+ retains the key design and technologies of the original YOGA Tablet 10, starting with its up to 18 hours of battery life. The tablet's cylindrical battery allows users to hold it for reading or browsing the Internet, or they can place it in Tilt Mode for a better viewing angle on a desk or tablet. They can also deploy the new and improved kickstand that extends from the tablet's battery cylinder to position it in Stand Mode.

The YOGA Tablet 10 HD+ will be available starting in April via major retailers and www.lenovo.com. Models start at $349.

Lenovo also today announced a new suite of DOit apps:

- SHAREit ? shares information between multiple devices without network charges

- SECUREit - speeds up devices and secures them from viruses and malware

- SYNCit - backs up and restores contacts, SMS messages and call logs

- SNAPit Camera - a camera app with multiple shooting modes

- SEEit Gallery - allows one-touch creative editing and photo management

SHAREit comes preloaded on all new Lenovo Android tablets and smartphones and is also available for download on the Google Play store free of charge. It will also be available for download on the Apple App Store for iPhone/iPad, as well as for Windows PCs starting in February.

SYNCit and SECUREit come preloaded on all new Lenovo Android smartphones and selected tablets. They are also available for free on Google Play. SYNCit is available for all brands of smartphones and tablets.

SECUREit is available for Lenovo smartphones and selected tablets, as well as for smartphones on non-Lenovo devices.

SNAPit Camera and SEEit Gallery are only available preloaded on selected Lenovo tablets and smartphones.
