Dell Introduces New XPS and Inspiron Laptops


Today, Dell announced new XPS and Inspiron laptops powered by Windows 10 and featuring InfinityEdge screens, vibrant graphics in lightweight designs.

The new XPS, weighing in at less than three pounds, is available in a new rose-gold finish and the Inspiron laptops are available in a variety of colors ranging from white to blue. These new PCs will be available beginning October 4, 2016.

Designed and built for performance with new 7th Generation Intel Core processors, mobility and visual fidelity, the new XPS 13 features Dell’s virtually borderless and premium Full HD or UltraSharp QHD+ InfinityEdge display, and now offers even more power and a better battery life of up to 22 hours in a stylish new rose-gold color.

Other features include:

  • Powered by Windows 10
  • New Rose Gold color available in two configurations:
  • Intel 7th Generation Core i5; 8GB memory; 256GB SSD; 13.3-inch FHD
  • Intel 7th Generation Core i7; 8GB memory; 256GB SSD; 13.3-inch QHD+ with Touch
  • New larger 60WHr battery delivering longer battery life, up to 22 hours on FHD and up to 13 hours on QHD+
  • New Killer 1535 Wireless-AC technology
  • 13.3-inch screen in an 11-inch frame
  • Weight starting at 2.7lbs and measuring 9-15mm
  • Constructed with machined aluminum, carbon fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass

Designed to deliver value, the Inspiron 15 5000 is a 15-inch FHD touch-enabled laptop equipped with an optional infrared camera that allows you to sign in to the device easily and securely with Windows Hello.

Other features include:

  • Powered by Windows 10
  • New thinner design and an array of colors including Sparkling White, Midnight Blue, Fog Night, Matte Gray, Black, Bali Blue, Tango Red or Cosmic Purple
  • Optional infrared camera with Windows Hello lets you log in with just a look (15-inch FHD touch configuration only)
  • Optional FHD display with touch on 15-inch version
  • TrueColor
  • DVD drive with optional Blu-ray writer

The Dell XPS 13 will be available starting Oct. 4 at $799 USD and the Dell Inspiron 15 and 17 5000 will be available starting Oct. 4 at $549.99 USD.
