Shuttle to Launch ARM-based Android Mini PC-NS02

Shuttle introduces two ARM-based platforms including the NS02A and NS02E. Both budget sustems run the Android operating system and can be used in applications such as menu board and digital signage.

With pre-install Android 5.1.1, the NS02 series does not require any installation. In addition, this series is pre-load free Shuttle house design digital signage software-DS Creator 2.0. Users can directly use their mobile devices to operate this digital signage software.

The difference between the two models is that the NS02E supports Power of Ethernet (PoE). Users can do the on-site installation without connecting to AC power for lower installation costs and shorter installation time.

The NS02 series is equipped with Rockchip RK 3368 Qcta-core processor and the maximum system power consumption (TDP) only 10W. Both systems come with DDR3L 2GB low-voltage memory.

Compared to NS01A, the NS02 series can support UHD resolution of up to 4K @ 60Hz via HDMI 2.0 video output and also support HEVC/ H.265 decoder to 4K@60FPS, 100Mbps bit rate. Built-in 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 combo, both systems allow users to connect with internet and a variety of BT devices. With an integrated 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN interface, this series supports Wake On LAN so users can power on the system via the internet.

Featured ultra-small size, NS02 series has onboard 16G eMMC and built-in SATA storage interface as well as SD card reader to support one 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD (7mm ultra slim) or an SD memory card for more storage space.

For commercial applications, the NS02 series features a rugged design, it can operate stably over long periods of time – even in 40 degrees C environments. This system is fanless and VESA mount ready.
