Multiple reports of a smartphone called Mi MIX Nano have been circulating online, but Xiaomi refutes the rumor.
The Mi MIX Nano was supposed to be a smaller variant of the bezel-less Xiaomi Mi MIX launched last month. However, Xiaomi's marketing director Zang Zhiyuan took to Weibo to confirm that "there's no such product as Xiaomi Mi MIX Nano". Surpirisingly, the specific comment was deleted a bit later, further fuelling rumors about the introduction of a mini Mi MIX variant.
Xiaomi's Mi MIX Nano is tipped to feature a 5.5-inch screen with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, which will be slightly less than the Mi MIX. It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The handset is expected to come with 4GB of RAM and will pack 64GB of storage.
The larger Xiaomi Mi MIX smartphone has a near bezel-less display and touting a 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. It bears a 6.4-inch display, Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB RAM and 16-megapixel rear camera.
