LG's Mobile Payment Service Coming Soon

LG will soon launch its own mobile payment service, joining archrival Samsung in offering customers the option of paying without cash.

LG said on Wednesday it will start providing the service in June via its G6 smartphone under a deal with U.S. payment card manufacturer Dynamics.

The G6, which was released earlier this month, is already equipped with the necessary hardware, and all that's needed to use the service is a software update.
