The Optimus G has already been launched in the United States, Canada, Korea and Japan.
The phone's power originates from its hardware design which includes Qualcomm's advanced Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core processor. The device also delivers fast data transfer speeds using today's 4G LTE telecommunication network.
The Optimus G will be available starting at the end of January in Singapore followed by other markets worldwide offering 4G LTE service.
LG is also expected to release the Optimus G Pro this quarter. The Optimus G Pro boasts a five-inch full HD resolution display with a pixel density set at 440 ppi. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro APG8064 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
BR> Power is drawn from a 3000 mAh battery. The G Pro is also offering a enhancements on the software side, including small widget-like apps that LG calls Slide Apps. Users can now also record video from the front and rear camera - simultaneously.
BR> When recording video using both cameras, video feed from the front-end is superimposed over the top of the 13-megapixel rear camera video.
