Samsung has updated its high performance Series 7 Chronos notebook with a new Intel Core i7 processor and fastest graphics by AMD.
The updated device features the same sleek aluminum design (20.9mm thick) with a 15.6-inch 1920x1080 resolution screen (300 nits Brightness) found in the previous model. However, it now comes equipped with an Intel third-generation (Ivy Bridge) i7 quad-core processor, 16GB system memory with supportfor a new software solution RAMaccelerator, which that provides up to a 150 percent increase in speed for browsing and running apps by taking advantage of the existing memory. and a Radeon HD 8870M graphics chip.
The notebook has also an HD web camera, a dual array of microphones and two JBL stereo speakers (2 x 4W). It has also an extended battery life of 11.5 hours.
The new Series 7 Chronos will be released in South Korea first in versions with 750GB and 1GB HDDs, with prices starting from $1660.
