Listeners enjoy a mixture of live DJ sets, label showcases, original Pioneer content and exclusive live broadcasts from dance music events.

Pioneer DJ Radio hosts live broadcasts such as the Ibiza opening and closing parties of Space, Ushuaïa and Eden, and events including the International Music Summit grand finale and the recent International Radio Festival. Live broadcasts are transmitted online and on 95.2 FM in Ibiza, borrowing the frequency from Ibiza Sonica Radio.

Pioneer DJ Radio began transmission with a test phase live from IMS 2012. Over the past year, it’s had live coverage from events including Blue Marlin Ibiza, Renaissance’s 20th anniversary at Pacha, and the International Radio Festival in the UK and Zurich. Not to mention opening and closing parties from Space, Ushuaïa and Amnesia. DJ sets have come from dance music royalty including Carl Cox, Solomun, Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, Felix Da Housecat, Sasha, Nic Fanciulli, Josh Wink, Steve Bug, M.A.N.D.Y, DJ Sneak and Andrea Oliva.

The week of 23rd September 2013 will be Pioneer DJ Radio’s Ibiza Live Week, with live broadcasts every evening from key parties at Ibiza’s most sought after venues.

• DJ Playground: presents one-hour mixes from established DJs including Nick Fanciulli, DJ Sneak, Shur-I-Kan, Guy Gerber and some of the new EDM with Nervo, Steve Aoki, Joe T Vanelli and Kissy Sell Out.
