Message Text:
Taiwan-based Quanta Computer has been working with Apple on a large-size 12-inch iPad, Taiwanese newspaper United Daily News
reported
on Tuesday.
Apple has been working with Foxconn and Pegatron for the production of its current iPads but according to UDN's report, the company is looking to diversify.
A Wall Street Journal
report
in July also claimed that Apple was in the process of testing displays "slightly less than 13 inches diagonally".
In the meantime, Apple will most probably release the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 in the next couple of months. The the 9.7-inch device is rumored to sport a design similar to that of the current Mini, with a slimmer bezel and squarer edges. As for the iPad Mini, it is expected to feature a new high-definition Retina display.
