Message Text: Amazon has just launched Kindle MatchBook, a service that gives its customers the option to buy - for $2.99, $1.99, $0.99, or free - the Kindle edition of print books they have purchased new from Amazon.

Over 70,000 books are enrolled in Kindle MatchBook. Users can can visit www.amazon.com/kindlematchbook to see all of their print books that are eligible for the Kindle MatchBook edition. They can also see when a book is eligible for Kindle MatchBook on the book's detail page.

"It's been great to see the positive response to MatchBook from both readers and publishers," Russ Grandinetti, vice president of Kindle Content, said in a statement. "MatchBook enrollment has grown from 10,000 to 70,000 titles in just a few weeks and we expect it will keep expanding rapidly in the months ahead."
