Message Text: Microsoft has acknowledged that gamers who upgraded their PCs to Windows 8.1 may experience mouse-control problems that affect their ability to play.

The problems were reported by gamers this week at Microsoft's tech support site, and included mouse jitters; scale disparity, where the distance the cursor moves on the screen doesn't match the distance the mouse moves; and inadequate mouse polling frequency, which affects speed and reaction time.

Microsoft responded to gamers and said that the issues will be solved as quickly as possible. The company also also suggested gamers to enable raw input from the mouse, if their game supports it.
