Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu could be playing for Real Madrid in a stadium named by Microsoft, as the Spanish football club is in talks with Microsoft to sell the stadium's naming rights.
The discussions were disclosed on Spanish television by Maria Garana, the president of Microsoft in Spain, and are "at an early stage."
The 85,000 seat venue has been named after its former president Santiago Bernabeu.
As it was expected, the announcement was not well received by all fans of the club. But many other companies have bought the naming rights of stadiums around Europe.
The airline Emirates has a tie-in with Arsenal, while Etihad sponsors Manchester City's ground and Bayern Munich play their home matches in the "Allianz Arena."
