Nikon has extended its superzoom range to include the Coolpix P900, offering a 16MP sensor and a F2.8-6.5 24-2000mm equivalent zoom.

It features built-in Wi-Fi with NFC, 7 fps burst shooting, built-in EVF and a fully articulated 3" 921k-dot LCD. The P900 is capable of 1080/60p video recording and uses a new Dual Detect optical image stabilization system, claiming up to 5 stops of shake compensation.

The Nikon Coolpix P900 will be available in April for $599.95.
