The device comes in three variants - 3GB RAM with 16GB storage, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. All three do offer memory expansion with a hybrid Dual SIM card slot.

The phone's main camera uses a 13MP sensor with phase detection autofocus, an f/2.2 aperture lens, and a dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, the m5 Note gets a 5MP camera on the front, paired with an f/2.0 aperture 4P lens. The m5 Note also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, and 4G LTE with VoLTE. Inside the metal unibody chassis lies a 4000mAh capacity battery, with support for Meizu?s mCharge fast charging tech. An 18W charger is bundled with the phone, claimed to be able to fully charge the battery in 90 minutes. In addition, the smartphone includes an mBack fingerprint scanner, which can be used for making payments with the Alipay mobile payment service. The m5 Note runs on Meizu's Flyme OS version 6.0, sitting atop Android 6.0 Marshamllow.

Available in Silver, Champagne Gold, Gray, and Blue color options, the Meizu m5 Note will go on sale in China starting December 8th. Prices range from 899 Yuan ($130) for the base variant (3GB RAM + 16GB storage) and 1499 Yuan ($218) for the top end variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
