Samsung is expanding its fitness wearable products with the global unveiling of the Gear Fit2 and the Gear IconX.
The Gear Fit2 features an embedded GPS and a heart rate monitor (HRM) that offer accurate fitness tracking and measurement, while providing instant feedback on the user?s workout.
GPS is typically limited to higher-end devices, such as the Fitbit Surge and the Microsoft Band 2, both of which go for $250. On the other hand, the Fit2 won't sync with iPhones, as Fitbits do. An Android phone is required for syncing music and workout data.
The Gear IconX are cord-free earbuds that can track fitness information and provide users with feedback on their running performance.
