New Samsung Galaxy Tab S Series To Include Windows Version

Samsung Electronics will unveil its new flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S series running on Microsoft's Windows operating system on February 26, one day prior to opening of the 2017 Mobile World Congress.

The new Galaxy Tab S series tablets will be released under three categories and will have multiple operating systems installed, allowing users to choose the tablet run on either Android or Windows operating system. Moreover, the tablet will come with a keyboard.

According to industry sources, the latest Galaxy Tab S series will be embedded with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor, 12 megapixel-camera, and 4-gigabyte random access memory. It also is expected to be thinner than its predecessor Galaxy Tab S2, which is only 5.6 millimeters thick. The price will likely be set around 700,000 won ($608).

Separately, Samsung Electronics will not be releasing Galaxy S8 series at the 2017 Mobile World Congress, but it will showcase the Galaxy S8 prototypes to client firms at a closed event. It is reported that the company will unveil Galaxy S8 to the public at the end of March.
