Russian Antitrust Regulator Finds Apple Guilty Of Fixing iPhones' Prices

The Commission of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has found Apple Rus guilty of fixing prices for a number of iPhone models.

According to Deputy Head of the regulator Andrei Tsarikovsky, Apple Russia coordinated the price at which businesses were allowed to sell the iPhone 5s, 5c, 6, 6 Plus, 6s and 6s Plus.

FAS Deputy Head said the service did not find signs of Apple iPhone 7 price coordination.

The FAS has not made any decision on the guilt of parent companies - Apple Holding B.V., Apple Sales Ireland, Apple Operations International, Apple Inc.

Apple will have about three months to appeal the ruling. If it doesn't succeed on appeal, Apple could be fined up to 15 percent of its Russian sales.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
