Samsung India has refreshed the budget J series with the launch of the new Galaxy J4+ and J6+ smartphones.
The mid-range smartphones sport similar specifications and come with a glass-finish design an Infinity display. Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ run Android 8.1 Oreo. The fingerprint sensor on Galaxy J6+ is embedded in the power button on the right side, while Galaxy J4+ relies on face unlock for unlocking the device.
The Galaxy J6+ is equipped with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage while Galaxy J4+ comes with 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM.
Both the smartphones are powered by a 3,300mAh battery and supprt Dolby Atmos for a full 360 degree surround-sound experience.
The Galaxy J6+ comes with 13MP+5MP dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera while the Galaxy J4+ sports a 13MP rear and a 5MP front camera.
The new smartphones come with true HD+ infinity design that gives users nearly 15 per cent more display area without increasing the overall size of the device, the company claimed.
Both devices feature a 6-inch HD+ Infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 abd they are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor.
Connectivity options on the two Samsung phones include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ support accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light and proximity sensors.
Their prices are Rs 10,990 (J4+) and Rs 15,990 (J6+).
