MB Chipset is P55 and all MB makers also launched the products at the same time. Currently, the P55 MB price is between 160~280 USD. If you want to buy LGA 1156 platform, i5-750 plus 160USD P55 MB is the best C/P. Certainly, if you need HT and also affordable, you also can consider i7-860. Merely, i7-860 price is very close to LGA1366 platform

These are not gaming cards that is the first thing to get out of the way. If you are looking for a fast video card I would suggest looking elsewhere as these cards do not have the performance to run the latest and greatest games without some sacrifice in playability resolution or setting. On the other hand performance on the GT220 OC from Gigabyte was enough to play many games with some decent performance numbers at low resolutions and is a nice upgrade from the Inetl integrated or AMD integrated graphics on their motherboards without spending too much money.

"The other week we had a look at a GTX 260 from GIGABYTE which sat in the company's new Super Overclock series. One of our main concerns about the new series was that what might be a "Super Overclock" to GIGABYTE, might not be to us. Considering we see some companies really give us some serious MHz out of these high-end models, GIGABYTE really had their work cut out for them.
When it came to testing, however, the GTX 260 did nothing but offer us the best performance we've seen out of the model. Finding ourselves quickly getting excited, we were happy to see that the higher end GTX 275 was going to get the same SOC treatment."

"When it came to testing our second HD 5850, we had a clear plan; CrossFire the two bad boys and see what kind of performance we can get. For many the second top model is always the one to get. At launch it's not as expensive as the top model while at the same time still manages to offer some very good performance.
We've really got quite a line-up of cards to compare the HD 5850 CrossFire setup against, but the first thing we'll be doing is checking out what GIGABYTE has done with the package before having a closer look at the card itself. Then it's down to the important bit; performance before we wrap it all up in our final thoughts."

"Gigabyte seems to have learned its lesson and has come back with another custom-tuned videocard, this time based on the more popular Geforce GTX 260 GPU. It's called the Gigabyte GV-N26SO-896I videocard, and it looks like it's going to be a screamer. While stock Geforce GTX 260 have a 576MHz core clock and a 1242MHz Shader Clock, the GV-N26SO-896I is factory overclocked up to a 680MHz core clock and 1466MHz shaders. This core speed increase is accompanied by an increase to the memory speed of the Geforce GTX 260's 896MB of GDDR3, from the standard 1998MHz clock up to a dizzying 2350MHz!"

A couple months ago, we got an in-person sneak preview of GIGABYTE?s P55 line up minus a few boards we?re sure to get our hands on soon. There were plenty of features and software offered that encompassed the entire P55 series. Overclocking capabilities are about the only thing that separates the various available models. Rest assured, exemplary stability and reliability are a standard feature on all of GIGABYTE?s boards.

"The Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H motherboard is a great upgrade platform for anyone with an existing socket AM2 AMD processor who wants to take advantage of the new HD decoding and on board HDMI options the AMD 785G chipset brings to the table. AMD's excellent upgrade paths mean the GA-MA785G-UD3H motherboard will support AMD Sempron, Athlon, Athlon II, Phenom and Phenom II processors; in short socket AM2, AM2+ and AM3 CPUs. The board has four memory slots that accommodate up to 8GB of DDR2 800/1066/1333(OC) MHz memory. However, beyond broad CPU and cheap DDR2 memory compatibility, the real power of the Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H is the AMD 785G chipset and Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics at its heart."

For computer enthusiasts, the last Intel milestone was the Core i7 processor launch that paralleled the X58-Express motherboard chipset launch back in November of 2008. Ten months later and well into September of 2009, Intel has returned with the P55-Express chipset for mainstream users who pair it with the new LGA1356 socket. On the outside little more than the processor socket and memory configuration has changed, replacing dual-channel for triple. PCI-Express now offers only one 16x lane instead of two, while the number of SATA and USB ports continues to give more expansion room than the average user might need. The consumer might not know what to expect when choosing between the two products, other than one is mainstream (P55) and the other is for extreme enthusiasts (X58). In this article, Benchmark Reviews directly compares the Intel Core i7-860 equipped Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6 motherboard against the GA-EX58-UD4P with Intel Core i7-920. Testi! ng a Core i7-860 against an i7-920 might not seem fair, and it's a little biased to compare P55 against X58, but the final outcome might just surprise you.

With the GA-P55 UD5P Gigabyte presents a mainboard which is
based on Intels new P55 chipset which has been designed mainly for the
mainstream market. Ten SATA ports as well as the possibility to drive
graphic cards in CrossFireX an SLI give you a lot of headroom while
setting up a specific configuration.

This Gigabyte card is one of the more spectacular ones we have
tested. I am of course referring to the passive cooling solution which is
very different from the reference cooler. In my opinion this Gigabyte card
offers a good performance/price ratio and has extra potential with its
overclocking abilities. But what it really comes down to is that it offers
us gamers a really good performance and still, we don't have to listen to an
annoying fan struggling to cool the card. The Ultra Durable VGA system from
Gigabyte wasn't really anything I noticed, but it feels safe that this
technology should prolong the life of the card...

GIGABYTE has gone the extra mile with this board. The board performed well in the default settings against the other P55 boards. The board overclocked to over 3.5GHz on air cooling which is not insignificant when using the 2.66GHz Core i5 750. The features of the board include 2OZ Copper in the Power and Ground layers of the board. It is available online for around $200 at this moment, making it in the middle ground of the P55 boards on the market today. As usual, with an Intel Chipset launch, GIGABYTE has launched several P55 boards this week. Gigabyte has a Hot Product with this new i5 motherboard.

With many video card releases, a certain product progression is expected from manufacturers. The first video cards out of the gate are near replicas of the vendor?s reference design, using the same cooler and sporting the same clock speed. Then manufacturers get crafty, playing with clock speeds and adding more RAM to try to capture the performance segment of the market.

"Today for the P55 launch we have two of Gigabyte's 11 P55 motherboards up for review. The GA-P55-UD6 is their high-end P55 motherboard with every feature known to man crammed onto an ATX motherboard. Ok, maybe not a every feature but close. The GA-P55M-UD4 is their high-end P55 mATX motherboard featuring the vast majority of the options on the GA-P55-UD6 albeit laid out on a compact mATX canvas. The only thing missing on the GA-P55M-UD4 is the TPM security module, the onboard LED debug reader, half(12) of the power phases, and a few expansion slots which might sound like a lot but in reality isn't nearly that much..."
