Sapphire's HD 5750 is priced competitively below $150 and offers all the new features like DirectX 11, AMD Eyefinity, native HDMI & DP and more. Even though the cooler does not look like it, it works extremely well and keeps the card cool and very quiet. We were also able to overclock our sample by more than 20% which essentialy brings the HD 5750's performance to levels of the HD 5770.

The power supply is the foundation of any computer. Without it, all that expensive, high-performance gear just sits idle. You can go without a case. Some people do. However, none of those bells and whistles are going to make a peep, if you don't have a power supply. Not only that, but you should never skimp on your power supply. I've seen more than a few computers taken out by a failing PSU. I've even seen one catch fire at a Lan Party I was attending. The site of a grown man crying isn't pretty. It is especially ugly when all of his friends are playing video games and making fun of him. This is the age of digital media and mass storage. Digital downloading is present in many homes via sites like iTunes and Rhapsody. Many people have digital cameras and high definition video cameras. We need massive storage capacities in order to save the large formats raw or in jpeg. Let's not forget about the large amounts of space these video camera video files can take up. You're going to need a place to keep all that data. That device is the Synology DS209 which we will be reviewing next.

The Toshiba Satellite T100 Series fits in the CULV segment and attempts to offer the comfort and convenience of a standard laptop in an ultra-thin package. As the larger model in the T100 series, the T135 we look at ths in article features Windows 7, a 13.3-inch widescreen display and measures only 1.35 inches at its thickest point...

"The ASRock M3A785GXH128M uses a 4+1 Phase power design. While this might be a red flag for some, we were able to overclock a 140W Phenom II X4 965 to a vCore of 1.55v with just a simple 80mm fan blowing across the MOSFETs. With a BIOS made for overclocking and AMD's awesome OverDrive at our disposal we were able to squeeze an extra 500mhz out of our Phenom II X4 965 Black edition Processor. Even with bare MOSFETS we had no trouble cranking up the voltage to 1.52v. and were able to reach 3.9GHz!"

"For a good example of the features a modern optical drive should have, look no further than the Lite-On iHAS424 DL-DVD burner. It's got everything you'd expect from a DVD-writer, including dual-layer DVD writing and reading, compatibility with both + and - formats, as well as support for lightscribe label burning if you have photosensitive media. Of course, it'll also read and write CD-Rs and CD-RWs."

"The Sapphire PurePSU 950W arrived Technic3D. See you in the following Review from Technic3D the PSU with six +12V rails (30A), 140mm Fan, 12x SATA hard disk connectors and 4x PCI-e 6+2-Pin."

With the ongoing buzz of people worrying about the economy and their own funds, the term "low budget" is becoming used far more often. Today, we are going to be looking at AMD's Athlon II X3 435 processor. The Athlon II X3 435 has 1.5MBs of L2 Cache per core and is a 95W (45nm) processor. It supports all the same features found in the rest of the Athlon II processors (X2, X3 and X4 alike). However, AMD's larger aim is based on it's price point. With a amazing sub $90 price there should be no reason not to take a second look at the new Athlon II CPUs, especially if you are on a budget.

Today we have a look at the Cooler Master Lab open casing, which is built and designed for people who switch hardware on very regular basis. Ideal for reviewers and overclockers and luckily I am both.

With word really beginning to get around that the new GT 300 based NVIDIA cards aren't going to be seen this year, it really gives AMD a chance to cement its HD 5000 series cards into the market. The latest HD 5000 series card to make its way into our labs is the HD 5850 and comes from HIS. We've already had a look at the model before and we've been pretty happy with what ATI has done with the card. Today we'll be seeing what HIS have done to the bundle and card to see if there's anything that stands out from other models."

"During the Computex Taipei 2009 tradeshow earlier this year we first got a glimpse of ASRock?s NVIDIA ION and Intel Atom based 1080p capable nettop. This is a very stylish and small system which impressed us and our readers greatly, especially considering it was ASRock?s first attempt at such a product. Fast forward several months and ASRock continues on the good thing it has with this product and comes out with the second generation of its ION 330 series of nettop small computers."

?Today I will be looking at a GTX 260 by Sparkle, the GTX 260 Plus. This isn?t your typical GTX 260, as it sports 1792 megs of memory. I reviewed a couple of Radeon HD 4870 X2s that each had two gigs of memory, but they were actually two 4870s with 1GB of memory per GPU. This is a single GPU with not much less than two gigs for itself. Will this massive amount of graphics memory make a difference? Read on to see!"

"The Enermax Galaxy EVO 1250W is a monster unit that's designed for those consumers who require a high-wattage unit that brings top performance and a price tag to match. The original Enermax Galaxy was a legend in enthusiast circles, a trailblazer of kilowatt power supplies, and the Galaxy EVO is indeed an evolution of its predecessor, not only in name but in technological advancement and aesthetic styling. Let's take a closer look at the EVO and see if it can live up to its pedigree."

If one of the new Sapphire Radeon HD5770 video cards is capable of playing DirectX 11 games, then two of them should make them perform even better. Come along as we take two of these cards and use them to benchmark DirectX 10.1 and DirectX 11 apps. The results for a three hundred dollar setup may surprise you.

?For those not in the know, every edition of the increasingly popular Ubuntu Linux has an alliterative, animal-based codename. Thus, Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala replaces 9.04 Jaunty Jackelope, which displaced Hardy Heron and Gutsy Gibbon before it. Canonical?s chief, Mark Shuttleworth, has been outspoken of late in his opinion that making a dent in the desktop operating system market requires a cohesive effort to produce an OS with an attractive, usable interface. He?s succeeded to some extent, with Koala?s revamped Human look and feel, opting for the reserved, flat look adopted by Microsoft a few years back. Nonetheless it still looks like a catch-up effort, not a groundbreaking advance.?

" Today for review I?ve got the Verbatim Tuff-Clip 8GB USB drive. This USB drive resembles a carabineer style clip that you can attach to most anything. The drive comes with software to create two partitions as well, one secure and one public so you can hide any important data so it can?t be accessed without a password. I?ve put it up against a few other 8gb USB drives I?ve got on hand for comparison and the Tuff-Clip performs well actually.."
