"Sector Skip" setting

I have the latest version and I'd like to know the best setting for the "Sector Skip" setting which is activated when I select "Intelligent Bad Sector Scanner". It is 1000 by default and I wonder if I should change it.

Depends from the CD i guess. A value of 600 is good
