Use REGEDIT to go into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
and under the SOFTWARE, delete the ADAPTEC
directory you find there.And rename the following files with the .BAC extension and reboot.
CDR4vsd.vxd in windows/system/iosubsys
CDRALVSD.vxd
acbhlpr.vxd
cdr4.dll in windows/system
cdr4vsd.dll
cdral.dll
If you have PacketCD from Cequadrat, rename the below files..
C2APIX.VXD
C2REC.VXD
C2UDF.INF
C2UDFFS.VXD
