I have a Plextor 12/10/32A, which I am trying to use through an SSI SI-390UA USB drive enclosure. This has been tried on Win2K SP1 and Win98SE. The plextor just will not be detected, at all. The Plextor works fine in a desktop PC, via the IDE controller and an old Mitsumi CD reader and a Maxtor HDD work fine in the SSI drive enclosure. I have not made any firmware changes to the Plextor.
USB enclosure is being used on a Dell Lattitude CPi 266XT
