Buffer underrun with Yamaha 6416s

Itīs not possible to copy CDs on the fly. I have an Adaptec 29160 controller, a pioneer dvd-u03s and I use WinOnCD 3.7 PE. Both drives are connected to the scsi-2 interface of the controller. I installed the lastest service packs and firmware upgrades. Operating system is Win 2000 (SP1).

Try using one of the DAE programs like EAC or audiograbber to see how fast the drive does track by track extraction. If the first few tracks are close to 6x, or under lets say, 8x DAE speed, you will have problems burning CD-CD as the reader isn't able to keep up w/ the 6x burn speed. www.cdspeed.com has a program called cdspeed 99 which will do track by track extraction and show you the speed it's doing it at.
