Problems in burning through scsi pcmia card

I use a scsi pcmia card to connect a Plextor CDRW to my laptop. When i try to burn, an error comes up. Should parity be on or off?

Parity is mostly used for weird Unix based operating systems like SCO unix. Definetly turn parity off and try it.
