How can i make divx avi from normal avi file (indeo 5.1)?

Install DivX drivers. Get VirtualDub and in Video>>Compression>>Select DivX drives (low or high) as compression.
If you want also to compress sound go to Audio>>Compression. Select desired compression.
Don't forget to select Full processing mode for both Video and Audio. Final to to File>>Save avi
