I got a Ricoh 7083A but cant seem to get the reading speed anywhere near x32 for DAE at least. At the start it took about 6 mins for a full 74 min CD of data to transfer, now it takes 4mins which sounds about right. DAE however hardly ever goes above x17 speed.
Its a CAV drive but it rarely ever hits above x20 at the outside of a 78 min CD.
