Problems with Teac 540e

I can't install a game using the Teac 540E. Just *install* fail, not reading a cd to play a game or what not. And i have tried it with other disks and the same problem show. It always get BSOD saying error reading disk. The drive is alone on my Primary IDE port, all the jumper are set correctly and like i said the problem only shows itself when installing a program.

Try installing the latest firmware. If it fail, change the drive configuration. If its Master on Secondary, change it to Slave. Then to Primary Slave if that fails. Also check if there are any programs running in the background when you attempt the install. Avoid launching from Auto-Insert.
