On The Fly
Usually refeared as copy-on-the-fly. Means that you can copy a CD without first creating an image to the HD. This can be accomplished with 2 drives (one reader, one recorder) and the proper CDR software. Newest CDR software take advantage of anti-buffer underrun technologies and can copy protected CDs on-the-fly.
