So there you have it, ever since its first incarnation Arctic Cooling's VGA Silencer series have been known for high quality at affordable prices. The ATI Silencer 1 is not exception. If you're looking to silence your aging Radeon and overclock it at the same time to make it last just a bit longer than I can heartily recommend the ATI Silencer series. I think the people at Arctic Cooling deserve to blow their own horn, they truly represent the : SWISS ART OF ENGINEERING !

Well what can I say really, the results speak for themselves a 50 mhz increase on the core and 100mhz on the ram is not to be sniffed at. The best thing is though all this comes at no noise cost as the Arctic Cooling Ati Silencer is exactly what it says silent. Overall I left this test in no doubt this is one of if not the best aftermarket coolers on the market. Silence and performance never really go hand in hand except for a few special products and in my view this is one of them, a well thought out product that does exactly what it claims and then some...highly recommended.

At a suggested retail price of $29 you'd be hard pressed to find a better cooling alternative for the 5900XT. Arctic Cooling took the market by surprise with their first "Silencers" and today their new generation keeps true to the original concept of quiet computing. If you are in the market for a 3rd party GPU cooler for your 5900XT, don't look any further.

Today I will be reviewing a rather unique cooling solution that boasts a quieter fan and from what the manufacturer is claiming, is a better and more efficient cooling solution for your new LGA775 processor. With a rather interesting fan and enough surface area to cool a toaster oven, let's see how this heatpipe based cooler performs while being attached to the Tweaknews testbed equipped with one of the hottest running processors on the the market, the Intel 3.46Ghz Extreme Edition."
