High Performance Group (Hiper), a UK based company, was founded in 2001. They have a varied product catalogue which includes numerous power supplies, coolers and even a few keyboards and video cables. Recently Hiper branched out into computer chassis and the first in their range is the Anubis. The Anubis is made of 6063-T5 alloy which is military specification. This material offers outstanding heat dissipation and is very durable. Lockheed Martin make the wings of their jets with this alloy which is a hell of a talking point.

The Osiris turned out to be one beautiful case. Hiper has really made an excellent product, with great attention to detail. It appears refined and polished, and in no way comes off as gaudy. No matter what side you look to you will find it blends perfectly with the rest. If you are looking for a clean, easy to work with, extremely well made mid-tower case, you should definitely consider the Osiris.

Recently, I took a look at the Hiper Type M 580W power supply, and gave it a less than stunning review. Well, it turns out that the 580W unit's bigger brothers, the Type R II and Type M 880W models, took exception to that; asking me to pick on someone my own size: namely, them.

Hiper did an excellent job with the Anubis case as it is easy to work with (with the painful exception of cutting one's hands while working with it) and pretty well designed as well. Black cases are my favorite color as they look cool whether it's sitting on a desk or on the floor next to my feet. The Anubis case is available online for $199. The only real negatives of the case are the lack of an external SATA or Firewire port on the IO and the lack of a removable motherboard tray. Otherwise the case does the job that Hiper intends to in bringing a Mid-Tower ATX case into the market with good features and tool less design. The good points of this case include a tool less design, incredible accessories bundle, latched side doors and the clearance to fit any video card into the case without interfering with the HDDs. Well done Hiper on the Anubis case.

It is said Osiris is the Lord of the Overworld. We investigate to see if the new case from Hiper is worthy of such a title or simply 'lording it up'.

But as of late, Hiper's claim to fame is the Anubis. A 6063 T5 Alloy case that boasts plenty of features that make air ventilation and water cooling an ease to setup. This case saw itself on the front page of a lot of well known websites. The Anubis received all kinds of awards for it superb construction, its ease to assemble, its roominess and its stealth features. We, here at Pro-Clockers, were not lucky enough to review the Anubis but we will make up for it today by reviewing the Osiris.

The Hiper Anubis is an incredibly sturdy chassis, which goes the "trusted and true" route. You will not find any fancy layout or interior screw-less system, but thumb screws instead. The beautifully designed front is one good reason to give the Anubis a little plaque with a unique serial number on it.

Next generation platforms and high performance graphics cards are essential to modern gamers and hardware enthusiasts, just as much as the new software designed to use them. Hiper has been providing performance systems with stable power for quite some time, and with a new focus on efficiency they can offer a penny-wise solution for everyone. Their latest Type M power supply series delivers 630W in the HPU-4M630 model and 880W in the HPU-4M880. The entire Type M series is built to provide excellent performance and efficient power to demanding GPU teams and quad-core systems while being stable and long-lasting to accommodate the needs of bleeding-edge technology for years to come.

Hiper made a name for themselves among modders through the flashy modular "Type R" line of Hiper power supplies (they say the "R" stands for "Racing"). Oh they are pretty, but as Dale Earnhardt Jr. might tell you, pretty paint jobs don't get you around the track. It's time to take Hiper's 680 watt Type R Mk. II for a few laps.

Hiper were first known within enthusiast cycles for their Type-R PSU series released back in early 2005. We reviewed two of these units a few weeks ago and found them to be good products. That said, the Type-R units were marketed firmly at enthusiasts and could not compete against aggressively priced units in the value conscious sector. To address this Hiper introduced the Type-M series back in early 2007. We have a Hiper Type-M 630W unit for review today.

High Performance Group (Hiper) has become known to modders through their feature (and bling) packed "Type-R" power supply line, but as we've preached to a cousin of ours, flashy rims alone won't make a '72 Beetle run faster (or in his case, run at all). Today we have one of Hiper's less flashy "Type M" PSUs on the testing deck and we figured it's time to see if there is more to a Hiper PSU than just bling.

Hiper were first known within enthusiast cycles for their Type-R PSU series released back in early 2005. Its many features, good looks and relatively competitive price made it a very reasonable choice of unit for a powerful system of the time. Three years have passed and Hiper have decided to completely redesign and revive the Type-R series, announcing the Type-R MKII units. These MKII units are entirely different than their predecessors, both in terms of features and appearance. Today we will thoroughly examine two Type-R MKII units, the HPU-5K880 and the HPU-5B680.
