"We used the Plantronics .Audio 476 DSP foldable headsetfor several VoIP calls and found the sound quality great to clearly hear those on the other end of the call. Using Google Voice and a free Gizmo5 account, we made several VoIP calls and were impressed by the call quality. When there was background noise, there was a light white noise sound that came through, but the call was crystal clear in a quiet setting. The white noise sound was definitely nothing that interfered with the ability to understand anyone, it was just a little observation made when critically listening at the call quality..."

"The Plantronics Discovery 975 has a carry case that has a battery inside to recharge the headset on the go. Plantronics' audioiQ2 technology is built-in with two mics to capture your voice and cancel out unwanted noise. The device also has three layers of wind protection with electronic filters and acoustic fabric. Plantronics also ships the headset with three different size ear tips for a comfortable fit and the headset has only two buttons to control all of its functions."

PC Gamers like them some headphones. Whether its communicating with team members in tactical shooters, taunting n00bs in PvP, or just not waking your significant other when gaming into the wee hours, a good headset is a necessary tool for gamers. Plantronics has developed their GameCom 777 Gaming headset, which is used by professional gamers (at least that's what I saw at their booth at PAX 08). This gamingheadset features Dolby Headphone technology, which not only allows gamers to experience positional sound in games, but listen to music and watch movies in 5.1 surround.

The comfort level of the Discovery 925 is incredibly nice. After finding the right size to wear, you start to wonder why manufacturers haven't come up with a similar design yet. A friend of mine who has small ears and has always had problems wearing "in-the-ear" type of headsets was able to fit the Discovery 925 with no problems at all. It doesn?t matter if you are left-ear or a right-ear Bluetooth wearer, you can switch between ears with ease. Some headsets like the Jawbone require you to physically change the hardware for this basic switch. After using the 925 for a few days, there is no way I want to go back to the "ancient" fit of an ear hook like the Jawbone or "deep in the ear canal" of the Gennum. These headsets are great performers, but their fit is not as comfortable, free and versatile as the 925...

With a new design and update to an already great family of Bluetooth headsets, Plantronics has given the Voyager line of headsets a flagship they can be proud of. Improving on the comfort level of the Voyager 510 as well as a nice leap forward in sound quality and volume, the Voyager 520 is a solid heir and should provide those looking for more 'minimalist' styling exactly what they are looking for...

In the past we have evaluated many of their Bluetooth headsets that they have released on the market, but today we mix it up a bit (sort of like the Lakers' first draft pick) and evaluate this luxury $400 Plantronics CS70N Wireless Office Headset system. I say luxury, but in reality, dropping this kind of money for certain companies and workers is not that big of a deal. If you are on the phone all day in an office environment, then you will want something that is comfortable to wear and is built solid...

The strength of the Plantronics Pulsar 260 headset is clearly centered on streaming music from your A2DP enabled phone. The headset clearly shows its strength when using it for stereo listening.
