Toshiba introduces the little brother to the G30, the Qosmio F30. Minus the HD-DVD optical drive, the F30 is still packed with multimedia features that will still blow you away.

With the 32WLT66, Toshiba's game of LCD catch-up is definitely over - and it's won. Its connections are unusually flexible, its picture performance is easily as good as anything we've seen from any other LCD manufacturer to date, and when you consider all this, its price tag looks pretty darned reasonable, too...

The petite size of the Toshiba MK1234GSX SATA hard drive certainly belies its amazing capacity. Its compact 2.5" form factor packs in 120GB of storage space! That may not be a lot when compared to desktop hard drives, but those 3.5" drives are significantly larger, heavier and more power-hungry. As far as notebooks are concerned, this drive is a monster in disguise! Thanks to its higher areal density and spindle speed, the Toshiba MK1234GSX is much faster than small capacity 4200 RPM hard drives like the Fujitsu MHT2040AT. Our tests showed that the Toshiba hard drive had a 33% faster read speed and a 14% faster random access time than the Fujitsu hard drive...

The notebook is huge and heavy, however, its supposed to be a Desktop Replacement and not one that you carry around with you. Considering that, the size and the 4.3Kg weight can be justified. Looks-wise, we like the slick black coating, however, its extremely prone to finger prints. The front side of the laptop has a slot-in Optical drive that writes dual layer and +/- DVDs...

The Toshiba MT700 is a wonderful projector for watching movies on. If you couple it with a high definition source, it's capable of incredible detail. Colours are naturally and realistically reproduced too and even if you feed it the worst source material imaginable it still comes up smelling of roses. Brightness isn't the greatest, but come on...now that the price has dropped from £2,500 to just £1,403 including VAT online, you should have enough cash left over to buy yourself a decent set of curtains...

Unbeknownst to many, Toshiba actually makes flash memory drives! Renown worldwide for their high quality laptops and appliances, will their TransMemory drives reflect the same high standards? Read on and find out...

It's good to see that Toshiba has given serious thought to how to implement the tricky balance between MP3 player and phone. It has decided to make all of the TS803's music-playing features available on the outside of the the clamshell, a nice touch which certainly adds to usability. The main control interface for the music player is a large, rectangular four-way directional pad on the front, and is actually rather good. It makes browsing your music an absolute doddle...

Toshiba's Qosmio range is set up for entertainment and the G20 stands at its head. With a large widescreen display and running Microsoft's Windows Media Center 2005, Toshiba has pretty much thrown the kitchen sink at this thing in an effort to ensure that it can act as a full-on digital hub. However, it's not going to win any prizes for portability. This is a big heavy machine and weighs in at 4.3Kg and that's without their external power brick. Certainly you're not going to want to move it very often...

The Libretto was a landmark product when Toshiba launched it back in the late nineties, but unfortunately it hasn't worn well. With devices like the Sony TX1XP offering better keyboard and screen, longer battery life and an integrated optical drive with an added weight of only 250g, the Libretto seems somewhat out of its depth. Throw the Fujitsu-Siemens LifeBook P1510 into the mix and the Libretto is in even more trouble. Ultimately, despite stiff competition, with the right ergonomics the Libretto could have been great. Unfortunately the keyboard is very poor and brings the whole package down - I defy anyone to type at speed while maintaining a decent level of accuracy...

Toshiba certainly isn't the first name that springs to mind when it comes to mobile phones. But as one of those Japanese companies that seems to make almost everything it's no surprise to find that it has turned its hand to 3G with the release of the TS 921, available exclusively on Vodafone...

There are three capacity sizes with 20, 40 and 60GB models available in silver or brushed black aluminium finishes. Mac users are not catered for. Our review unit was a 20GB model making it slightly thinner than its bigger brother and weighing less at 160G. On the face of it, the 20GB model offers tremendous value. 20GB of capacity, a 2.2in 320 x 240 resolution colour display, a cradle and at 16 hours, slightly more battery life than the iPod, and all for a lot less than the 20GB Apple player. The latter also has a lower resolution screen and no dock. The 20GB Gigabeat doesn't include a remote control but it is supplied with the 40 and 60GB versions...

There's a lot to like about the 17WL46B - it looks great, it's well designed and has pretty impressive picture quality via the internal tuner, and through the AV inputs. It may not be as versatile as other LCD TVs which aim to satisfy two markets, but if you?re looking for a small, stylish, flat screen TV for your home, this Toshiba would suit your needs.

The TDP-SW20 is a competent, if pretty run-of-the-mill budget projector. It's nothing special specification-wise: the resolution is a pretty bog-standard SVGA (800 x 600), and the brightness is nothing to write home about either at 1400 ANSI lumens. The contrast rating of 2000:1 is pretty standard too, these days. There are other projectors on the market with higher resolution and brighter pictures for the same money.

On the face of it, the T91 is a quality projector. Its performance and specification for this sort of money are extremely good. At just over £1,600 it?s not the cheapest unit around, but you do get an awful lot of projector for your money and we?d have no reservations about recommending it for all-round use. Incidentally, without the camera it will set you back £1,144, about the same as an InFocus LP600.
