"Butcher Bay was a sexy first-person shooter, particularly if seeing a bloody shiv, a strip of sharpened poly, its handle made by wrapping the dull end with medical tape, lying there in a sewer drain gets you warm. How does its sequel fare?"

Thermaltake has been around for many years, creating heatsinks for nearly every market imaginable. Thermaltake's first claim to fame was the Golden Orb, a unique cooler that set the computing world on its ear. Thermaltake has not stopped there, and they are still inventing challenging new designs. Today we take a look at highly awarded SpinQ and see what it has to offer.

Sennheiser's latest and greatest headphones are put to the test. The HD800s created quite a fuzz when released, not only were they one of the most expensive headphones launched last year, they were also the most anticipated ones. In this review we put them to the test and see if there can be a reason to spend $1800 on headphones.

?For review today, we've got the Thermaltake Contac 29 HSF. Featuring heatpipes, fins aplenty and universal mounting capability and a silent 120mm fan, it certainly meets our expectations as far as specs go, but how does it stand up to other cooling systems? Let's find out.?

?Between ATI's Radeon HD5850 and HD5770 is a gap in terms of performance and price in their lineup. Looking to close that gap is the Radeon HD5830. Sounds pretty simple, but there is a catch. The catch here is the 5830 isn't a new card, not at least in the traditional sense. Instead, ATI has recycled a piece of their current lineup in order to fill the need, and the 5830 is essentially a neutered 5870 that couldn't pass strict binning criteria. Sapphire has taken the 5830, installed a heatsink with some heatpipes, slapped on a Modern Warfare 2 sticker, and tossed in a free copy of the game. Let's take the Sapphire Radeon 5830 1GB for a spin and see how it stacks up against the competition.?

The aftermarket heatsink industry is very competitive, and manufacturers often release several product designs before finally scoring a win with enthusiasts and overclockers. The Megahalems was ProlimaTech's first run at CPU-cooler's, and a very sucessful one at that. Earning our Editor's Choice Award and countless accolades from other websites, ProlimaTech has built high expectations with their follow-up products. The ProlimaTech Armageddon is one such cooling solution with a legacy to fill, and with six heatpipes and enough finsink area for two 140mm fans it seems a reasonable possability. Benchmark Reviews recently tested the ProlimaTech Armageddon heatsink in our Best CPU Cooler Performance series, on an overclocked Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition processor against several other top CPU coolers.

The Vapor 120 performed impressively. The Dimple Effect on the fins appeared to do its job, as the Vapor 120 uses only three heat pipes, albeit using Heat pipe Direct Touch, and stayed on par with other heat sinks using four heat pipes and a much larger fin array.

"When we first heard that audio accessory giant Monster Cable was getting into the headphone market, we were, to be perfectly frank, skeptical. Let's face it: Just about everyone and their cousin is making some form of headphone, from the insultingly cheap to the shockingly expensive. Thankfully, our first experience with Monster headphones was a very positive one. The Beats by Dre headphones sounded great, and were clearly very well made. So, it was with optimistic anticipation that we received the Miles Davis Tribute headphones by Monster. More than just headphones, this suite of collector's items that bears the legendary trumpeter's name comes packed with loads of goodies. But do the headphones sound good enough to satisfy the particular tastes of someone like Miles Davis? In this review, we'll dig into what comes with the Miles Davis Tribute headphone experience, and see if Monster does Miles proud."

"The card to arrive was a HD 5770; it wasn't a Turbo nor an IceQ version and since I had already reviewed two HD 5770s from HIS, I figured I was probably going to be dealing with a card that I'd already seen. When I opened it up, though, I found a new fan design that looked pretty cool. Since the release of the HD 5700 series we've seen companies release models with different types of fans. ATI themselves had two different versions of the card; one with the cooler that's like the HD 5800 series cards and a cheaper designed one. It seems that HIS have added another card to the flock so let's take the time to see how it goes."

These new Crucial 4GB UDIMM DDR3 modules were announced recently and each module has 4GB per module instead of the so far usual 2GB per module. This capacity makes an enormously high memory upgrade possible for current High-End systems, because with e.g. 4x 4 GB modules it is possible to reach gigantic 16GB DDR3 RAM. This is fantastic for developer of 3D animations and graphic designer, but also for all other power users with a 64 bit operating system. Two of these new Crucial PC3-10600 4GB UDIMM modules were tested as 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 kit in an AMD socket AM3 system, compared with some other RAM kits and overclocked to the maximum limit.

"Creative's first-generation Vado HD may have fallen off the horse the first time we threw it in the ring in our mini HD camcorder roundup, but Creative has dusted the little guy off and come back for more. The new third-generation Vado HD departs from the first and second generations with a sleek new design, additional features like external microphone support and improved low-light recording, while oddly dropping in storage from 8GB to 4GB. Do these tweaks and a lower $180 justify snagging one over the likes of its many competitors? Let's find out."

Overclockers demand only the best performance from their computer hardware, which is why the aftermarket heatsink industry is thriving with competition. Using both the overclocked 140W AMD Phenom-II X4-965 BE and six-core Gulftown Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition processors, Benchmark Reviews tests several new thermal solutions for our Best CPU Cooler Performance Intel/AMD Q1-2010 article. Notable entries include the ProlimaTech Armageddon, Cogage Arrow, Noctua NH-D14, Thermalright Venomous-X, and Zalman CNPS10X-Performa.

These days, full-sized headphones are a novelty. They have become impractical for most music lovers with an on-the-go lifestyle, leading to a rise in the popularity of smaller designs. Today, ASE Labs looks at the Arctic Sound E361-BM, one of Arctic Cooling's entries in the crowded sea of earbud models.

"Lately what I have seen from Antec was the out of the box concept of test bench style chassis?. They made quite a stir with the release of their open air Skeleton series cases and I for one was a fan of the uniqueness and overall concept of those chassis?. The Antec 900 I mentioned and we have all come to know over the years, was the trendsetter for the Gaming series of Antec chassis design. Since then, there have been several variations including revisions of the original 900, but a much larger partner in cooling components, the 1200. Today we are going to have a look at their kid brother. With this concept Antec has taken some of the original elements and packed them into a much smaller and budget concept package. I am referring to the Antec Two Hundred Gaming Mid Tower chassis. From the looks of things at first glance, there are fan controls and the traditional matte black paint, but this time Antec has placed a much more unique front panel on the Two Hundred."
