As mentioned before the Triton 75 is a passive cooler. ASUS includes all of the hardware needed to attach a 120mm fan to the cooler. Assuming that most users will be adding a fan we are going to test the Triton 75 with a 120mm fan. The Triton 75 is a four heatpipe cooler with a copper base and uses aluminum fins to dissipate heat. As you will soon see the cooler is designed to pass air from above and push it down to the motherboard.

There are an abundance of new advances and available feature options with this board and it actually has so many features it could easily have a score over our 100 point limit. The notable features include support for DDR3 memory, 3 PCI Express x16 slots (2 2.0 slots), support for Intel's Yorkfield CPUs and the ability to overclock like no tomorrow, we reached a stable 4.2GHz on air cooling alone.

Asus has released some really nice Intel motherboards in the last little while, and of those the enthusiast grade BLITZ line really stands out. The DDR3 powered Asus BLITZ Extreme motherboard PCSTATS is testing in this review is the sister-board to an identical DDR2-powered model called the Asus BLITZ Formula. While both motherboards are based around the Intel P35 Express chipset, what we really want to know is if the BLITZ Extreme and DDR3 memory will allow it break out ahead!? Let's find out!

The Asus BLITZ Formula motherboard is based around Intel's P35 Express Northbridge and ICH9R Southbridge chipsets. It supports up to 8GB of DDR2 800/1066 MHz memory. The motherboard also has two integrated Gigabit network cards, two IEEE 1394a ports, 12 USB 2.0 slots, six Serial ATA II slots (RAID 0,1,5,10,JBOD), one IDE channel and supports AMD CrossFire technology too. Asus bundle a mountain of accessories, including a SupremeFX 11 8-channel audio card and software like a full version of 3DMark06 (good for the benchmark freaks out there) and the game STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl!

Chances are, if you know what a motherboard is, you've heard of Asus. Over the years, Asus has carved out an excellent reputation for their products, ranging from budget to full featured enthusiast level computing solutions. With the introduction of their most recent fully featured motherboard, the Asus P5E3 Deluxe is a top contender in the motherboard arena. Borrowing a bevy of features from their vaunted "Republic of Gamers" line of motherboards, the P5E3 Deluxe boasts Asus' exclusive AI Lifestyle technology, and a penchant for serious overclocking ability.

With NVIDIA still being the only place to go to get your SLI fix, we take the ASUS P5N-T Deluxe out for a spin to see where the new NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI stands in today's chipset market. If 3-Way SLI is high on your to-do list, you might want to see what ASUS has to offer.

Despite the fact it offers absolutely no extra performance and a few iffy bits, we really like this board and it offers good value for the genuine features it delivers. If you really want the latest SLI solution, the Striker II Formula should certainly be on your shopping list - just be wary of what's coming out in the next few months: you won't be waiting another year for a chipset update like before. That said, with Nehalem CPUs just over a year away, the Asus Striker II Formula might also be the perfect complement to get an annual upgrade cycle under way.

2007 has been a good one for smartphones, with heavyweights such as the HTC TyTN II and perhaps, the ASUS P750 that could give HTC a run for their money.

The Asus EAH3850 Top is factory overclocked and has a clock speed of 730MHz on the core and 1.9GHz on the memory. The card uses 256MB of DDR3 RAM and is built on a 55nm fabrication process. One of the nicest features of the Asus EAH3850 Top is the built-in 5.1surround sound that allows video and audio out on an HDMI cable.

Today, we'll take a look at the Asus version of the 8800GT -- the Asus EN8800GT TOP 512MB -- which is not just any 8800GT as it's pre-overclocked, under warranty, straight from the factory. Although factory overclocked cards aren't uncommon nowadays, this one is one of the fastest and most readily available 8800GT on the market today, comes with Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts game, a plethora of cables, and a really, really big retail box. Let's see how the Asus EN8800GT TOP 512MB (Or what we will refer to as the Asus 8800GT TOP) runs through our tests today.

Market forecasts predict DDR3 memory poised to replace its predecessor DDR2 as the main volume product for 2008. Already aware of this, memory chip manufacturers like Micron, Samsung, Hynix, and Qimonda have begun tooling up for mass production. As a result we should finally start to see the dizzying prices of DDR3 come down - being affordable will no doubt help to spur adoption in the market. With price drops looming, many will be looking for quality motherboards suitable for high-speed DDR3. With this in mind Benchmark Reviews thought it would be of interest to examine one of the more mature DDR3 based motherboard offerings on the market today; the ASUS P5K3 Deluxe Wi-Fi-AP Motherboard based on the Intel P35 chipset.

While Asus have enjoyed success, they have not stood still, they have been diversifying into more PC components and peripherals. Today they produce everything; from servers, notebooks and cellular phones to routers, monitors and computer cases. If Asus could make their own processors and hard disk drives, they could offer a home PC exclusively made by them! Histrionics aside today we will be looking at a high end CPU cooler from them, the Arctic Square. Although Asus currently produces 10 high end CPU coolers, each of them has different potential and performance. The Arctic Square for example is marketed as a high end cooler balanced between thermal and acoustic performance, which in theory means that good thermal performance is only part of the picture; it should be able to keep noise levels to a minimum as well.
