Today we look at AreoCool's new 5.25 drive bay device, the FP-01. This unique little device that has just about everything one would want on the front of their case crammed into one nice package that takes up the same space as a optical drive...

When I was a kid, I often dreamed of putting a jet engine on my bike, because I wanted to be the first kid to break the sound barrier on a BMX. If you want to visualize it, just think of the moment of flight on E.T. but on steroids. Looking at the AE-Plus, I think the engineers at Aerocool know where I was coming from. The first design meeting probably went something like this, "I wonder what it would look like if we put a turbine engine on a case." "Forget that. I wonder how well it would cool a system." Then some other guy said, "I like windmills." Perhaps it didn?t go quite that way, but the design schema is definitely there and it's often repeated in their cases. As we progress through the review, I'll elaborate and we'll see what this case has to offer.

5.25" bay devices are like high tech Swiss Army knives, and the capabilities have grown to the point where the number of functions that can be squeezed into a small patch of real estate on the front of a case is really rather crazy... The item up for review takes multi-tasking to a new level by incorporating a digital display with controls/alarms for three fans and three temperature sensors, with a 55-in-1 multimedia card reader, a USB port, and an eSATA connection. In my opinion, one of the best things about it is that all of these items fit into just one 5.25" bay without looking cluttered.

Well the good news is that our friends at Aerocool have just sent us their latest front panel device. This new component takes the features that we have seen on quite a few devices and adds a twist to it. The FP-01 has the appearance of a Cdrom with a built-in digital card reader. But when the door is opened you get a complete readout of information about your PC. Is it worthy of taking up a 5.25 bay in your tower??read on dear geeks and find out.

Moving on, the "Infinity-Drive"- which sounds like it should be something out of Galaxy Quest is actually an aluminium 2.5" USB ATA notebook drive enclosure. It has a brushed, anodized finish with plastic end caps and very little else worth mentioning - apart from the USB port and a little black hole in the back. It is easily removed by simply pulling it from the bay. When removed, the empty bay is covered by a spring loaded plastic door designed to look just like the front of the enclosure.

The Aerocool Zero Degree case has a nice clean outside appearance and a functional inside design that will easily accommodate water cooling setups if one should choose to go that route in the future. The 0.8mm SECC steel that is used for the Zero Degree was found to be strong and leaves you with a heavy solid case when installation is complete. If you're looking for a tool-less 'Flexi Tower' case with an upside-down ATX configuration and a side window that will make others stop and take a second look, then the Aerocool Zero Degree is well worth a look...

Today we are going to review the Aerocool Infinite Front Panel device. This little panel has the features of most other front panel devices out there with one small exception. The Infinite boasts a removal 2.5 inch hard drive enclosure. So, not only the ability to read different types of flash medias but can be used as a docking station for a much needed removable storage medium.

The Aerocool Zero Flexi Tower is slightly bigger than a mid-sized case and smaller than a full-sized unit as well, and while it fills the middle-ground in terms of size, it does have the potential to store all your internal components. Most of all, the Zero provides some very serious cooling. Why we say this? Take a look at the article.

The Aerocool Xfire is a massive heatpipe cooling solution that can be used Intel LGA775 and AMD K8 platforms granted that the Xfire can fit. This heat sink stands at 100mm tall and 120mm wide and uses a white 120mm fan with quad white LED's to keep the ~100 cooling fins nice and cool. Legit Reviews takes the Aerocool Xfire out for a test drive on our Intel Core 2 Duo test platform and give our honest thoughts on the Xfire.

Overall the Aerocool Turbine Fan is quite a deal at $15. Combine that with the air flow and low noise level, this is a great replacement to pick up.

There are so many things to consider when constructing a new computer. How often have you traveled from forum to forum trying to determine what motherboard to couple with your new processor? Or what power supply will give you the juice and stability to maintain a rock steady system? Both of these are very commonly asked, but what is probably the number thing that comes up is what cooler am I going to use? Not only is keeping your processor a main concern but if you are using tight timings and high frequencies then keeping your ram is just as important. Well the new Dominator from Aerocool will do both and much more...

We all know that Aerocool is fast making a name for themselves in the world of cases and cooling. The success of the ExtremEngine line of cases and front panel devices have been a pretty big success for them. Being no strangers to cooling fans, Aerocool was nice enough to send over their entire line of Silver Lightning cooling fans. From sizes ranging from 80mm to 140mm, there is surely one or two to meet your needs...

Aerocool has been doing their thing in the computer cooling for about the last five years or so. And their cases are on another level as well, being one of the first to mount a huge 25cm fan to the side of the case has gotten great reviews. But it seems that the engineers at Aerocool never take the time to relax, they are introducing one product after another in the US market. Today, we have their latest cooler, dubbed the XFire. Read on...
