Taking your files with you to another location can sometimes be a real hassle, especially if the data is to large to fit on a CD, DVD, or thumb drive. Sure, you could put the files on a laptop and lug it around as an 8 lb thumb drive, but there is no need to do that anymore. Cooler Master has a way to make your life easier with their X Craft Press & Go 2.5" external hard drive enclosure.

The Cooler Master CM Media 280 HTPC Case is being marketed as a "Power HTPC" due to its ability to support full size video cards, multiple hard drives, and its high quality aluminum appearance. In addition to these features, one of the most innovative items is the ability to change the orientation of the case from a tower to a desktop.

The Cooler Master X Craft 250 and 350 hard drive enclosures are very stylish portable storage devices. Except for the physical size of each unit and the connections in the rear, they look like twins. High gloss black or silver finishes will have anyone that has not seen one before asking what this cool looking device is. Both drive enclosures offer a reasonably fast USB 2.0 interface, while the X Craft 350 adds a USB Hub and an eSATA connection.

The Media 280 does a similar job to the high-end HTPC cases from the likes of Silverstone and Zalman. It also looks pretty good and inconspicuous from the front, while it's also more than capable of keeping your components cool. Don't bother getting it as a tower but, as a media case, it works pretty well.

Unfortunately, the Cooler Master AquaGate Viva falls into the "slightly too expensive, not enough value" budget watercooling realm. It's ultimately let down by its ease of use because it over-complicated matters trying to support too many eventualities. If you need something for a hot graphics card and you have a bit of money to burn and a case to fit it, then this performs fantastically, but we thoroughly recommend careful consideration of the potential installation before purchase.

Laptops don't always encourage proper posture and ergonomics but Cooler Master's new notebook accessory hopes to change that. The NotePal S does a great job as a notebook stand. By raising the laptop to eye level, the NotePal S fosters better posture and comfort. No longer will you have a sore neck or back. It is also great in that you can use your laptop like a traditional desktop with the screen acting as the monitor.
