The CS-718 is a top performer. If I was able to use the wind tunnel the thermal results would have been even better, I'm sure. In its current revision it does have a lot of flaws but almost all of them are minor. Externally it's almost a perfect case with its silver and black colour scheme, blue LED panel and blue LED lights for power and HDD access. The build quality of the chassis is excellent, too. With some tweaks here and there, the CS-718 could be one of the very best cases out there for demanding users.

This is a purdy case to look at, that's for sure. The paint was flawless and the chrome accents were tasteful. The accessory complement was adequate, featuring one blue LED fan and a preinstalled blue neon light. The sliding bay covers were an innovative touch, and depending on the application could be quite useful. It keeps things really clean at any rate. The included 120mm fan space was a nice touch, and placing the HDD rack in the path of this fan will keep your drives cool. Dual 80mm exhaust fans ensure what air gets in also gets out.

The Enermax Venus CS 10068-S3 is well designed and easy to work with. Being of a micro ATX design space is limited but not so much as it is inconvenient or troublesome. I would give the Venus 9 out of 10 points for design and price.

I really like the Enermax CS-718 case. It is refreshing to see a manufacturer move away from the standard design and build something different that actually works. Not only does it perform well, but it looks really nice also. The mesh front, rounded top, and conveniently placed controls make this a case that you would be proud to show off.
