NVIDIA's top dog, the GeForce 8800 GTX gets the water-cooling treatment from MSI with its newest NX8800GTX OC Liquid. Like its name suggest, it's overclocked and quite different from the typical reference card. Read on for our thoughts about this 'elitist' card.

The above card is MSI's latest incarnation of the 8800GTX, though as you can see, this one comes with something a bit extra. This overclocked GTX is called the "OC Liquid" and comes with a 610mhz core clock and a 2000mhz memory clock (Stock: 575/1800). To make sure this blazingly fast card stays cool, MSI have tacked on the card's very own Water Cooling loop complete with miniature pump and high end copper waterblock.

The only real difference between one vendor's Geforce 8800GTS and the next is that MSI pre-overclock the NX8800GTS-T2D320E-HD-OC pretty heavily from the factory. The stock speed of a vanilla GeForce 8800GTS 320MB videocard is 500MHz core, 1600MHz memory. Out of the box this MSI NX8800GTS-T2D320E-HD-OC spins its wheels at 575MHz core and 1700MHz memory.

MSI has always excelled in videocard overclocking - maybe it's that shade of red they coat every motherboard and videocard with.... As the MSI NX7900GS-T2D512E-OC comes from the factory already pretty heavily overclocked, we're not expecting too much more from the GPU and memory. By default the GPU is clocked at 550 MHz, while the memory hums along at a brisk 1400 MHz.

We recently looked at ASUS' AquaTank 8800GTX and in less than ten days, MSI sends us their water-cooled edition for the 8800GTX. Lets find out how "Liquid" compares to "Aquatank"

MSI's 7900GS comes slightly overclocked and with 512MB of RAM. With further overclocking, this moderately priced graphics card shows great potential by matching speeds of the 7900GTX.

Depending where you apply value depends on whether this motherboard is right for you to start with. It's certainly not an all rounder. If you just want great stock performance from a good looking, stable-as-a-rock motherboard then this should certainly be in the mix to buy. However, if you're looking for a cheap, overclocking fiend, you'll need to check elsewhere. MSI just didn't display that to us here.

Motherboard shopping for a new Media Center PC? MSI's new G965MDH comes with Intel's newest integrated graphics solution and an uncommon Intel Southbridge especially customized for Viiv. How would it compare against its other G965 brethren? Read on.

Based on the AMD 690G, it's the first chipset to appear from AMD since the merger with ATI. It's designed for the AM2 socket CPU and not surprisingly then it features integrated ATI graphics, complete with AVIVO quality. What's more it features an HDMI socket with HDCP compliancy. Combined with the small micro ATX form factor you're looking at a very nice solution for a media centre system. MSI also has the K9AGM2-F/L, a micro ATX board based on the 690V chipset, which is the same but omits the HDMI and DVI support. MSI will also have regular ATX versions with and without HDMI - the K9AG Neo2-Digital, and the K9AG Neo-F respectively.

Built with the workhorse nVidia nForce 650i SLI SPP and nVidia nForce 650i MCP chipsets (nForce 430i according to MSI), the MSI P6N SLI Platinum motherboard is compatible with all Socket 775 processors on the market; Celeron D, Pentium 4/D/XE and Intel Core 2 Duo/Core 2 Quad. It supports processors that operate on a 1333*/1066/800/533MHz FSB (*when the higher FSB processors are avialalbe), and accomodates up to 8GB of DDR2-800/667/533 memory in a dual channel configuration. The bare minimum for Microsoft Windows Vista to run smoothly is 1GB, but PCSTATS recommends starting off with at least 2GB RAM.

MSI produce a wide range of components for the IT industry; from motherboards to MP3 players and everything in between. Today they have been kind enough to supply us with their latest version of the G80, the 8800GTS 320mb. Lets see how this card fares.

To compensate the reduction in memory, lots of manufacturers are increasing the core and memory speeds on the 320MB version of the 8800GTS. As much as I would've liked, MSI's 8800GTS-320MB OC edition that we're looking at today, doesn't come with Mischa Barton. Instead, it comes with increased core and memory clock speeds of 575MHz/850MHz.

Are overclocked GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB graphics cards the rage now among vendors and consumers? We have already seen such a card from Foxconn and now MSI is the next to show us its overclocked GeForce 8800 GTS, but the MSI NX8800GTS-T2D320E-HD-OC has a little surprise in store as well.

MSI's new P6N SLI Platinum is a mid-range performance gaming motherboard based on the NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI chipset. With SLI support, enhanced 1333MHz FSB, all solid capacitor design, we were quite impressed with what the board had to offer. Check out our review here.

As with all higher-end MSI cards of late, the 7800GTX comes packaged in a standard sized light blue box depicting an angel. Inside the box, you find cables for Composite, component and S-Video as well as a couple of DVI-DSUB connectors. MSI also places two 6-pin PCI-E power connectors as the 8800GTX requires two. While drivers and applications are present, surprisingly, MSI does not bundle any games with the card.
