"If you were to ask someone to describe an MP3/Video player they would probably begin to describe to you your average iPod. If you went a little further you would probably find them talking about the iPhone or the iPod Touch.
The reason for this is that Apple, as of right now, simply dominates this market. But as with many companies that have a dominant market share, they have gotten lax. The iPhone and iPod Touch were revolutionary when they came out. The design was new and sexy. Now the design is showing signs of age. The consumer electronics market is jaded and fickle. If you keep using the same look, eventually you will fall out of fashion."

"The Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 uses Bluetooth connectivity and includes no Bluetooth dongle. The keyboard is very thin at only slightly thicker than an AAA battery. The number pad is full size and separate from the keyboard for more compact dimensions. The keyboard has a battery status indicator and an on/off switch to conserve battery life when not in use. The keyboard also uses Microsoft's Comfort Curve design."

The wireless mouse promised 30 hours of gaming per charge, uses a recharge system that lets you play, and charge the battery at the same time. The mouse also has 12 programmable buttons and macro capability.

Gamers like to customise their gaming mouse to fit their needs, which is why the SideWinder X8 offers DPI switching (high, medium and low), replaceable mouse feet (choice of three materials for glide preference), seven programmable buttons (five main buttons, plus left and right tilt), and a macro record button. Overall it's a very comfortable mouse that looks great and has plenty of features for seasoned gamers. The only downside is the high price, especially considering that Razer offers similar mice for less than half the price. Even if your pockets are deep you'll have trouble justifying the asking price.

Now that Microsoft has two gaming mice in their newly resurrected SideWinder line, they can rest easy right? Wrong! Any gamer knows that the mouse is only half of the equation, and a good keyboard can make or break the pairing. Enter the SideWinder X6 keyboard, which is meant to both compliment and be a companion to the SideWinder gaming rodents. The new keyboard features the same colour scheme, in the form of a black body with red backlighting. It also sports a few extra features that many gamers and enthusiasts look for in such a keyboard.
